In March of 1999, C&M started out with a rented van and two antique dealers who trusted them to carefully move their precious cargo. Initially, the new company depended on referrals and word of mouth. Their base of designers grew as they focused on their target market and quickly became the company for moving fine furnishings. Shortly thereafter, Ron was counting among his clients: Houston’s high profile socialites who trusted him to move their River Oaks and ShadySide mansions either across town or to another city. After growing considerably in t
