Andy's Transfer and Storage was founded by Dick Anderson in Montrose in 1921 where his main business was transporting of building materials from Los Angeles to the Crescenta Valley. A couple years later, Anderson expanded into the moving and household goods segment, where the business thrived for over two decades. In the Mid 1940’s, the parents of the current owner, Harry & Cress Kroening, purchased the business and kept the Andy’s name.
