In 1975, Jim & Kathy purchased Turlock Van and Storage; Turlock Van and Storage was then an agent for Global Van Lines. Two years later they made the decision to affiliate themselves with United Van Lines, a fast growing, well-managed organization based in Fenton, Missouri. As Turlock Van and Storage began to grow, Jim and Kathy purchased another United agency in Stockton, CA in 1987.
